Time for a short entry.  All is well.  Photos to come later.

Fall is here and it is a great time of year.

We closed up the cabin last weekend and no waders were needed for the lake.  Big Yeah!!!

I recieved a birthday card today with a great verse.  "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things.", Matthew 12:35

You cna't help but be humbled reading a verse like this.  You start to reflect on how hard it is to live this out.  You remember the times you have failed people and God.  You think about the times that the last thing you considered yourself was good.

But then you remember that you are loved and that love sent Jesus to save you and that love is transforming you into a new creation and that from that transformation comes the good.

So thank you to my wife for her love and my daughters for their love, and thank you Lord for another year.

DSC01752

Just back from VT.  This is looking across Lake Champlain west towards NY.  It's from the top of Mt. Philo, a small mountain or large hill.  My Dad (age 75) and I climbed this on Saturday morning.  I know Beckee wishes she was there to climb with us!

Below is a picture of 4 of the 5 Boisse kids.  Only my sister Kathy is missing.  Where am I?  Look for the balding guy in baggy pants who is the giant in the group.

My Dad is a confirmed chicken farmer (at least part-time).  Here the flock comes running for some cracked corn after he called them.  The magic call is Be-dock, be-dock, be-dock.

Hello Friends!  I have a question for all my music posse out there.  I was listening to a 1925 recording of Edward Elgar conducting his Pomp and Circumstance #1, great recording by the way, and the radio announcer indicated that the middle section is referred to as the "trio".  OK, here's the question, what does that mean?  First one to help me gets a prize!  My children are excluded as they are family and so it would be a conflict of intereest to award any prizes to them.
